Who do you sell to?+
StormEdge® is a wholesale company. We sell to retailers, distributors and WDs, jobbers, installers and shops, and fleets. If you resell or install blades, email us and we will set you up.
How do I open an account?+
Email rick@stormedgewipers.com with your company name, channel, and a rough sense of door count or annual blade volume. We reply within one business day with the line sheet, tiered pricing, and account paperwork. Net terms are available for qualified accounts.
Is there a phone number?+
Not yet. Email is our only contact channel for now and a person reads every message. A phone line is coming.
What is your background?+
Over 30 years selling and manufacturing the world's most popular wiper blade brands at the largest retailers and distributors in North America. StormEdge® is the specialized business we built to focus solely on blades, with no distractions.
Can you supply planogram and fitment data?+
Yes. Fitment by year, make, and model, case-pack and dimension data, images, and a shelf-ready planogram are all available on request in the format your system needs.
Sizing and fit
How do I know which size I need?+
Use the Find My Size tool on the Shop page. Enter make, model, and year and we return the driver, passenger, and rear sizes. If your vehicle is not listed, measure your current blade tip to tip in inches, or check the owner's manual. Driver and passenger sizes are usually different.
Will StormEdge® fit my wiper arm?+
Every front blade ships with a pre-installed universal adapter plus four additional adapters covering J-hook, pinch tab, bayonet, push button, and top lock arms. That covers about 98% of vehicles on North American roads. Rear Beam includes roc lock, pin, and bayonet adapters.
What if I order the wrong size?+
Exchange it free within 60 days. Contact support with your order number and the correct size and we ship the replacement before the original comes back.
Installation
How long does installation take?+
About two minutes per blade, no tools. Lift the arm, press the release tab on the old blade and slide it off, slide the StormEdge® blade on until it clicks, lower the arm. Run one wet cycle to seat the edge.
Do I need to change the adapter?+
Usually not. The pre-installed adapter fits the most common hook arm. If your arm uses a different connector, swap to the matching adapter from the box. Each one presses in with a click and is labeled.
Should I prep the glass?+
Yes. Use the included prep wipe or a glass cleaner to remove wax, silicone, and road film. A clean windshield is the difference between a quiet blade and a chattering one, with any brand.
Performance
What is the difference between Pro Beam and Winter Beam?+
Pro Beam is the all-season flagship: frameless beam, silicone-infused compound, ceramic edge, rated to -40F. Winter Beam wraps that platform in a sealed thermoplastic shell so slush and freezing rain cannot build up on the spine, and uses a softer cold-weather compound. If you get real winters, run Winter Beam November through March.
How long do the blades last?+
Most drivers see 12 to 24 months on Pro Beam depending on climate and mileage. Dust, salt, and sun shorten the life of any blade. Our ceramic-reinforced edge is designed to extend it well past conventional rubber.
Why do my new blades streak?+
Nearly always residue on the glass. Clean the windshield thoroughly and run a few wet cycles. If streaking persists after that, the blade is covered by warranty and we will replace it.
Orders, shipping, and warranty
How fast do orders ship?+
Orders placed by 2pm ET ship the same business day from our Ohio warehouse. Standard shipping is 3 to 5 business days and free on orders over $50. Express is 1 to 2 business days.
What does the warranty cover?+
Every blade is covered for 24 months against streaking, chattering, edge wear, and spine failure under normal use. File a claim with your order number and a photo and we ship a replacement.
Can I return blades?+
Unopened blades can be returned within 60 days for a full refund. Opened blades that are the wrong size can be exchanged free. See the warranty and returns page for details.
